Posted: 04/18/2007 U-15 Boys came up short in all 3 games this weekend at the MASC tournament. The first game we played Metro FC, lost 3-2in a very rough game, but we had our chances and did not capitalize. The second game should have not have been played due to the weather and the field conditions, we had chill factor in low 20's , high winds and rain. The field looked like a pond and the boys cleats were sticking in the mud, other than that we scored 1st in the 2nd half and than gave up 2 goals late in the game. Sunday was still windy and cold but no rain, NK United Klass Blaze was the team left to play in our bracket, we gave them a good fight but gave up 2 goals in the second half. Over all we played well but we realized we have room for improvement. We will open our season against Union County FC Elite Wed. 4/18 away.

Posted: 04/03/2007 The U-15 girls started their spring season in Lancaster on Saturday March 31st. After a slow start the Arsenal squad found themselves in a 2-0 hole. They quickly picked up the intensity as Noelle Debolt led speedster Mackenzie Huston for a one on one with Lancaster’s Keeper. Mackenzie was able to find the back of the net to close the gap to 2-1 before the half. Adjustments were made and the girls played a much improved second half but could not seem to find the net and suffered their first loss of the new season. The U-15 girls will practice Tuesday April 3rd, Wednesday April 4th, take a break for the Easter holiday and return to practice Tuesday April 10th and Wednesday April 11th (5:00-6:30 at Riverside) before they hit the road once again to take on Chillicothe on Thursday April 12th.
Posted: 03/25/2007 The Arsenal U-18 boys played in the tough U18 Gold bracket over the weekend in the PRF united cup. We played hard and really came together as a team by the end of the tournament. The team really played well together considering the limited number of practices that we have had. We lost our first game 1-0 to Cincinnati Football Club on a free kick in the last minute of the game. We lost 3-0 the DSC Blackwolves from Wisconsin who were tournament runners up. We really got it all put together in the last game and tied the WASA eagles 1-1 to keep them from advancing. The goal was scored by Killian Riley off an assist from Derek Simonette. The way we began to play this weekend has me very excited for the rest of the season.
